Scribani Network calls for papers from young scholars
JESUIT NETWORK CALLS FOR PAPERS ON EUROPEAN MIGRATION AND ASYLUM POLICIES


Monday, 14 September - The Scribani Network, a network of 15 European Jesuit centres involved in professional education and the pursuit of concrete social action, has launched an open call to young scholars to submit research papers on European Migration and Asylum Policies. Successful candidates will be invited to the Scribani Conference in Madrid in 2010 to present the papers to an audience of field experts.

Applicants should be graduate students or scholars in law, economy, theology or the social sciences (anthropology, sociology, political sciences, etc) or other disciplines if engaged in relevant research. Have relevant previous experience and be active in relevant area of specialization. Have a good command of English and respect the formal requirements of the application process. The closing date for entries is 1 December 2009.
